PRESS RELEASE

A Screen for the AI Generation

How LetzAI Originals gives Europe's viral film movement a home.

Luxembourg, 6 September 2026 · For immediate release

Across Europe, AI filmmakers are now racking up hundreds of millions of views with their productions. It's a movement still writing its own rules. With LetzAI Originals, the Luxembourg platform is giving that movement its own stage: a curated screening room for films made entirely with LetzAI, paired with a new funding program for filmmakers.

This is made possible by LetzAI Canvas, the platform's workspace launched in June 2026. It lets a film be developed from first idea to final cut: generated, edited, cut, and exported without ever leaving the platform. Canvas is the technical foundation the first Originals productions were built on.

LetzAI Originals: A Stage for Real Films

LetzAI Originals launched in August 2026: a curated screening room for productions made entirely with LetzAI, and at the same time a reference library showing how those films were made. The lineup is curated by LetzAI co-founders Misch Strotz and Karim Youssef.

The ambition behind it is stated plainly: a home for pictures that hold up as films, not for easily produced “AI slop” that audiences scroll past.

“AI Movies and AI VFX are now basically indistinguishable from traditional films,” LetzAI CEO Misch Strotz wrote on X at the launch of Originals. At the same time, he notes, many filmmakers today have to think in terms of hooks, attention spans, and retention rates rather than stories. Originals is meant to offer a counter-model to that.

The two first pilot productions show what that can look like.

The lineup opens with the sci-fi series THOLIN by Karim Yourself and director Steven Quach: one night in a future Hanoi, in the hidden room beneath a tattoo shop where the city's dead are taken apart.

The second production to go live is MIRA, Episode I, by LetzAI CEO Misch Strotz: a drama built entirely with LetzAI Canvas and the Seedance 2.5 video model. It follows a girl running out of time in her fight against a fatal illness, until an unexpected encounter changes everything.

Both titles ship not just as finished films but with the full making-of: curated prompts, production workflows, stills, and other material from the set. After watching an episode, viewers can recreate scenes using the same methods themselves.

Funding for New Productions

Alongside the launch of Originals, LetzAI has also opened its first funding program for filmmakers and directors. Selected applicants receive enterprise models and credits to develop and finish their own production. Anyone who has already produced an outstanding AI film with LetzAI can also submit it directly for inclusion in Originals.

How many credits a project will cost can be estimated in advance with the new AI Film Price Calculator: choose a video model, clip length, and number of takes kept, and the calculator shows the cost in credits as well as in euros and dollars.

A Growing Stage for a European Movement

With Originals and the funding program, LetzAI is positioning itself as the destination for exactly the filmmakers already driving millions of views across Europe. More titles are expected in the coming months, curated with the same standard: films you watch, not ones you scroll past.

A viral movement is thus turning, step by step, into a cinema of its own: curated, funded, and open to anyone who wants more than the next clip.
